My Brother's 76 has that style seal and it has the plastic clips. I would actually prefer the plastic because of possible rust issues.

LoL true, true. But washing a car does require water sometimes ;)

Doug,
Kurt is having a great time working on his own car and as far as he is concerned the Mustang is the only car in the garage! Kurt & I when to Carlisle this past weekend to look for a few parts, and talk to some of the parts suppliers. It was also his 1st time price haggling on his own, which he quickly learned and mastered (so he said) It was fun standing back out of site watching him work the deal.
Thanks for asking!
Pat

I am sure you/he will probably get familiar with CJ Pony Parts.  I live about 30 min. from the shop/store.  They are a good place to deal with for mustang stuff, and know their stuff.

Yes, we will start a thread on a Mustang site?? I have yet to find a Ford forum with member as nice as here! I didn’t think it would be right to start a one here, but I will post the link when we start the thread.
Thanks!

We have one of their catalogs and they look to have everything you could need. The problem is there is a lot of poor quality repro part out there for Mustangs and it would be nice if there was one place that only sold the good stuff.
Thanks!
