Well, PUI interiors is about the only one who makes the seat covers for the Trans Am.  So pretty much all the distributors carry the PUI line (including myself).  So, you just have to see who has the best price on them.  For example.....

1978 Deluxe Seat Covers Vinyl Complete set front and rear.

78ta.com Price   $389
Year One Price   $475
National Parts Depot   $454
Performance Years   $429

So, if all four of those vendors get the same exact PUI seat covers... who would you order from?

Now, I am not trying to "toot" my own horn.  I do not sell every part for the Trans Am.  I try to concentrate my sales on items that I can save people money on over most of the distributors out there and also make a few $$ in the process.  Do I have the cheapest price out there on the parts that I sell?... not all the time.  But my prices are comparable and in most cases I do have the lowest price on the items I carry for the same exact product that the big name distributors carry.  So, if I can save the consumer some money.... I will.  Like I said, I may not have the cheapest price on everything out there, but overall I think I provide a good value.  But if someone has a better price, then by all means post it up here.  I am here for the benefit of you guys, the consumer.  I am not trying to "corner" the Trans Am market, I am just trying to help out the little person get a good value for their hard earned $$.

Hitman is $10 dollars cheaper on the delux set than Ames performance. I'm sure Hitman would only sell the best, he can for the best price he can.  Bravo!

Year One has a huge overhead... big location....... lots of workers....... big advertising..... etc.  There are still alot of thinkers out there that have the mentality of "If it costs more, it must be better".  So they think they are getting a better product and that somehow the seat covers (or any of the other products) are different than anyone else's.  I can say also that they do alot of development.  I mean it costs money to go out and tool for reproducing new Snowflake rims.

I have bought almost all the parts I needed on my 79 from the Hitman. His site is the first and last place I go for parts.

hey Brett, on the delux cloth. Are all of them with the plaid, or can you get the solid cloth? Any price difference?
