Wheels..........
« on: June 15, 2009, 09:42:53 PM »
I recently picked up a set of snowflake wheels with new center caps for a total of $100.  The guy lived in Santa Claus, Indiana, where he had a blue 1980 Firebird.  I stopped one day and asked him what he would take for the set of wheels, tires, and caps all together.  He asked me to make an offer.  I started low so that I would have room to work up, so I offered one hundred smackers and he then replied, to my surprise, SOLD!  Here's the car with the new wheels and caps on her.

I new this guy that had an original set of magnesium torque thrust rims that I wanted for my mustang
I went there with 1000 in my pocket, he said that he had been checking oround to see what they were worth, he said he wanted about 250 and I said... for all of them with the hardware? or 250 each?
well I got them for 250
I think that set was probably worth about 2500 since they were for shelby mustang, the backspacing was correct

Thanks for the kind congrats and compliments!  They're greatly appreciated!  I'm very proud of them.

I'm surprised no one said anything about the hail laying on the ground in the first picture...lol!
