80 SE WS6 301
« on: June 16, 2012, 09:51:55 PM »
Today at a local car show I spotted a guy with an later Special Edition car.  I thought it was a 79.  Turns out to be an 80.  It has original paint, interior... everything.  There is a little touching up in the paint and some door dings.  The interior is really nice with some slight imperfections.  We asked if he was interested in selling, and he is.  He is the original owner.  What do you think it's worth?  It has about 73k miles.

There really shouldn't be any restoring I don't think.  The paint shines.  It is all original.

if it is as nice as you say then good score, i picked mine up for under $3k with lots of extra parts but rusty, the interior is quite nice camel deluxe and the body has original paint, i am current installing new full length floor pans, trunk pan and then welding in a lot of new metal

If he's asking 10 for it I think that's very fair. I'd have thought 15 to 17
