Ok, I should have said about the dog dish,Since I had the car so long, I was sick of the snow flakes, they are in stg. We were up on woodward and I'm a dog dish guy.I hang out with an old drag racer from the 60's. He goes, you outta put dog dish on goldie! I said, your rite. So the search was on. those are all nos, from california, wisconson, n. carolina, and the last one was a poci in st. loui. I love hunting down nos. You cant find steel wheels in detroit area there gone, those are GM wheels from a tire shop thats now out of buisness.I was going to paint the arrow gold, but I hate to do it to a nos set.I took the wheels to a buddys bump shop and they were shot in solar gold. The young guys hate them and the old guys like em, so who likes em? By the way the bird in there is my parrot, the day I registered I had burd in and she pooped on me, so I added turd, thats how that came about!

I was hoping it was a special order for some GM executive.  I think I prefer the snowflakes better.  Just because I'm so used to seeing snowflakes on these cars anything else looks odd to me.  But I do love your car!  I hope my Y88 looks as nice as yours when it's done.

Wow is she clean . I'm 50  but sorry but the hubcaps ruin the experiance for me lol . If your tired of flakes theres gotta be a better alternative ,but of course each to his own . I gotta say this may be a first in history

In 4-5 years I'll do something else, the thing with wheels is it changes the look without  harming the originality, next i'm thinkin about those snowflake or honeycombs there making these days in the biger size. What do you guys's think about the dash, I'ts always bothered me It's the wrong color, It looks like maybe a 77 color, but if you get into an area thats hidden the color is darker, I was going to paint it but it's perfect ant thats the way it came.I have some interior plastic pcs.in the color of my dash i picked up at a swap, don't know what year the lighter tan was used.

The wheels arent bad, but I think a set of white letters would make'em pop.

I like the wheels. I heard the story 1st hand. It takes some stones to change visible components that drastic. Because you know people are going to talk. Granted, you could put the flakes back on, but 9/10 people are gonna think you were high when you did it.

I perfer the snowflakes or rallys myself.  But thats what I'm used to seeing. But then again, I feel that a car is form of personal expression.  So if thats what you like, who cares.  Great looking car.
