1979 platinum ws6
« on: May 19, 2011, 02:11:57 PM »
Just posting a few pics of my T/A. has had one repaint in 2006. is an original 15L, 15U car, but liked the look of a TATA, so went with the charcoal bumpers and shaker. have full documentation from new. is #'s matching car, that really has never had anything done to it except a paint job,(other than your usual 30 year old parts that have to be replaced, like water pump, fuel pump, power steering pump, heater core, little minor things). has a little less than 53,000 miles. just go to car shows and go cruising in it. Bone stock, with the exception of a "pypes" x pipe system with the street pro mufflers. since these pics were taken i have installed the correct shaker decal, (this had really bothered me, don't know why), and put the original stainless center caps back on with new birds. Glad to be a part of this forum.

Sweet car mate, love the 2 tone colour.

Also very nice pics - did you use an SLR for those? They look similar to the results I get from my trusty Canon 350d. I'm liking the depth of field and focus. Good job.

stock size 225/70's. previous set was 245/60/15 uniroyal rallye gts. was only the second set of tires that had been on the car. they still had a lot of tread on them, but had been on the car since 1988. very dry rotted, and had several broke belts in them. started to go with 255/60/15's, because the 245's were just too short for my taste and decided just to go stock size. i think because of the tread pattern on the firehawks, they actually look wider than other 225/70/15's.

Very nice.  I love the black interior. Not used to seeing that with the paint you have.

Very nice T/A !
I really like the TATA paint scheme and the  black interior.  Have the seats been recovered? They just look too new
