Battery?

Does anyone know what type of battery to put in a 78 TA? I don't know very much about cars, and my mother-in-law needs a battery to get her TA running again. Where should I go and what type of battery should I get?

You can go to WalMart or any car parts store and they'll typically have the right battery for the vehicle - there's a book or a computer interface. Things to consider are the post location (pos/neg on the correct side relative to the wire) & type (top post vs. side posts). Ensure the number of Cold Cranking Amps (CCA) is correct for the vehicle.
Take the old one in to match it up with the new one.

Actually, Walmart stops at 1980 I tried that lol. But I appreciate it, I think I'm going to AutoZone or O'Reilly or somewhere and bringing the battery with me.

Yep - taking it with you is the best way to avoid an additional trip. I guess it's been a while since I bought a WalMart battery ....
