That is a very nice car. I'd say 14 is about the average price.

Thanks for your input!  So....NOT the deal of the century.  I guess I just need to decide if it's THEE car for me.  Price wise it's about what I am looking to spend right now.  I think that's about what I can expect for that money, yeah?  Thanks again.

It looks really great (brown is a great color) like I said, for 14k that's a really nice car. If you like it, I'd do it.

Looks great.
drop $4000 off that price , for it having the 403.

No --- drop $7000 (1/2) off for having the 403.

Will let you know...look-see set up for tomorrow.  I like the brown too.  The 403 seems to be an issue for some people.  I'm looking for a solid, unmolested, driver with low mileage...that will also be a fairly stable investment should I ever NEED to sell it.

This is my concern...can you elaborate on the drawback with the 403?  Thanks!

You could say Houston or Austin...somewhere in between...so I usually check out both the Austin and Houston for TA's....Dallas too actually.  I see TA's that I'm interested in, but am nervous about buying one without seeing it in person.   I'm hoping this one will be as good looking or better in person.   :)

I think he was joking about the 403. I can't think of anything wrong with the 403. They're fine engines.

Well I thought that seemed a little extreme, and knew there was a bit of sarcasm there...but I truly thought it was a dig.  Which is fine too...I did say I wanted opinions...good or bad right?  I certainly want the truth and if it is not a good engine I truly would love to know the "whys".  Thanks again...I surely don't want to step on anyones toes here.  I appreciate all replies.   :)

Oops....it's been called to my attention I may not have seen the humor in your reply.  So sorry!  I'm stressing and probably over thinking this car.  BUT in all seriousness...if there were an issue with the 403 I would totally be open to learning before I pull the trigger on one.   Thanks again.   ;)

nothing wrong w/ 403 auto. its just the most common drive train (and an olds) so some say not as desirable as 400 and might affect price. from those pics that looks to be a solid survivor and while a tad high its priced about right (he does say OBO) good luck
