looking good. I see they sent you camaro trunk drop offs. no biggie that may still be the only way to get them as far as I know.

Oh noo kidding!  Those are for a Camaro??? :o  I wonder if Frank even knows that!  Well, he did say that he has to do some modifications, and yes, this is all a test fit.

LOL, your bad Rick!!

Hey Doug, is it REALLY necessary to have the doors on before welding begins?  I mean, I trust your judgement, but for me, I was just curious.

you'll need the door on and a good eye to look down the body line .  it very easy to be a 1/4" high or low at the wheel opening.
it takes time to do a car right.  if its off just a little and when its painted and polished it will reach out and punch Frank in the junk , because he didnt take the time to be sure it was stright.   JK   but you'll see it every time you walk by it.

the repro skins suck, my .02     but that what they give us to work with.  there to thin and will warp and get waves in them from clamping them into place.

I work the door first then put it on and then do the quarts and fenders body line.  some times you can manipulate the body line with filler to make it straight.

Yes, those trunk drop-offs are Camaro parts and you'll need to do a little work to get them to mate up correctly with the quarters.
You can buy them for Firebirds also but with some work, you should be fine with those.
