I found the build sheet for my donor car.  In the date field it has - 04-3623 and 05-05.  Since the cowl tag had an 05A, I'm going to say that it was built May 05, 1978.  Did I do that right?   What's the 04-3623 stand for?

Oh, Y90 is deluxe interior correct?

Y90 is the deluxe code # and  the date is correct. I think it is on the door tag as well?

 My guess is that 04-3623 is the schedule number.

 05A is the first week of May and if 0505 was in that "schedule number  date" block,
that's what I'd think too.

 Y90 lists as "Custom Trim" which is vague by itself. You'd need the Product Manual
to see what was included for your model year and interior options.

Yes, the 04-3623 is the date code from the fisher body plant.  You should see that same code stamped on your cowl plate like shown below:
