my '78 t/a
« on: December 12, 2008, 10:17:09 PM »
well hi guys! this is my first post! i joined here a few months ago and thought i'd let ya see what i found, here is my 1978 t/a, it has the se trim package but until i contact PHS i won't know if it's a true se. i couldn't find the build sheet under or behind the back seat but it does have all the good stuff. hurst t-tops,gold trim and seems to be all original. one owner and a southern car! with only 84,000 miles and runs like a charm. there are no major issues with the car except the trunk drop offs to the inner lower quarter panels are rusted and i need to find those from somewhere not the quarters just the drop offs. but it's gonna get the resto process during the winter since it gets cold and dreary and i can't stand to be bored & cooped up inside, so i'm bringing it inside!
i would sleep in it but my wife is pretty nice to sleep beside also so i can't choose between the two!! also in one of the pics you can see a red '68 firebird i've owned for about 15 yrs. and am working on too. don't ya just love those birds?

Good looking T/A sir. 8) Welcome to the site.  :) Good luck on both your projects. Yes... I just gotta love the Birds. :D

You can always sleep in your T/A after one of those "heated discussions" that husbands and wives have been known to have. ;D ;D

Wow, that interior really shows its low milage(I consider it low milage). It looks very clean and nice.

I am somewhat of an interior nut my self, Hammer. ;)
