The oil pressure guage in my 78 has a "flutter" in it once it warms up right in the 40 PSI range. Had this on my 80 and a new cluster fixed it.

The faces on my 78 are really nice and I'd like to get this one fixed if I could. Can they be repaired?

check to make sure it is a bad gauge and not a bad pump even if the pump is new. use a mechanical gauge to test.

I have found that once it starts doing that it is time for a new/used replacement.
