Dare him to live on the adventuresome side for once!  Lots of things in life are "not necessary", but someday you'll die and when that happens it's too late to turn back the clock for a second crack at stuff like this.  I've never met anybody in a nursing home yet that said they wish they'd passed up a trip to stay home. ;)

What are some of his interests or the things that he likes? Maybe some of those who have attended the TA Nats know where some of those things are nearby in the Dayton area so a side trip could be planned.

Yeah the judging was bad and the tech line too, we need people who know the cars and the history.or we could play pin the tail on the firebird.Sorry to change topic but I have read posts about judgeing and fully agree.
