75 Bird
« on: September 20, 2008, 02:29:05 PM »
I was shocked when I came across this 1975 Fiirbird today.  I pulled a quick u-turn when I went driving past it, but was majorly disappointed when I say how much rusted away it is.  It is an original owner car, but no way it's worth the $1995.  Heres some images to include the VIN.  If anyone is actually interested in this car, it is located in Newport News, Virginia; the telephone number on the window is 757.871-2260.

The "U" in the VIN confirms it's a Formula ;)

If I had a job I'd go down and offer $300 bucks for it but, alas, I don't :(

Depends on the condition of the rest of the car but that hole could be patched with a piece from a donor ...the price is waaay too high for it's current condition though.

Here's a lil' motivation for what's possible if anyone is interested in saving that '75 ;)

These are past pix where one of my courageous but terminal '79's  :-\ donated some "skin" to Jeri's '76  ;D

It's a formula and a desired color combo... at least by me... tempting but nope :(

Wonder why the rest of the body seems solid except for that certain area, kind of weird to see that I think.
