Topic: Looking for 403 engine side motor mounts to put in an olds 455

I'm putting an olds 455 in my 77. The previous owner had put a 305 in it?? I'm looking for the motor mounts that attach to the engine of a 403. Should be a flat plate that bolts to the motor and then a metal bracket that bolts to that.

Hey I have a 1980 ta going to put a 455 in it did you ever find the right motor mounts for it I have a 301 in mine now and don't know what mounts to use when. I put the 455 in it

You can get them new again, originals can crack or be out of shape. Google would tell them that.

I put a 455 Olds / TH350 in my '81 Firebird and had a 403 Olds before that. The 403 Motor Mounts worked fine. You can buy/order them at most Parts Stores. My Mechanic likes the GM ones. I've only been finished about three months and am very happy with it's performance. Best 1/4 mile is 11.86 sec @ 112 mph. I've only had limited run time and expect much more.
