Well, they used to let you drive on Daytona beach.

Daytona beach driving is permitted daily seaward of the clearly marked dune conservation zone depending on tides and access ramps being opened. The beach is open to vehicles: May 1 through Oct. 31 from 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Nov. 1 through April 30 from sunrise to sunset
