Here is a clip of TNBANDIT's car.  It has the XE262 cam with a flowmaster exhaust.

Also Rich has the same cam and he has some good sound clips.

Where might I find some of Rich's sound clips? I must say that the one you posted sounded excellent to me.

Heres a XE268H for comparison. Idling at about 1000 rpm.

Here are a couple more.  I haven't created one where she just sits like the one Sooner posted lately. The car was idling just a bit high in that video.  It has a lope but not a big one at all.  To me it is perfect, it sounds mean.

Your car does sound great.  Rich's and yours were why I decided to use that cam but now I am going a different root.  I am putting in a cut down 455 crank so now I need a different cam because I will have higher compression.  So now I am trying to sell my cam and matching valve springs.

That really does sound good. Whenever we finally get the time to really do some work to the Formy I'm torn between going with the xe262 or the xe256. I don't know how the xe262 would get along with the 2.41 gears we currently have though.

The xe262 would work great with those gears no problems.

That's good to know. I think I had read somewhere that a "mild gear" was needed.  Obviously "mild gear" is a little vague.  One of these days...

Jerry at schneider cams can custom grid a cam for your car to match your drive train and the way you plan on driving your car for about the same cost of a regular production grind cam. You can get a cam specifically for your car.

Still can't figure out why everyone is so sold on comp cams or crower cams when you can get a custom grind for the same price.

I had 2.41 gears originally when I put this cam in, worked great.  I now have 3.23's and I like them much better.
