Starting on 1979 trans am again

After about 4 months we are starting it for the second time pics will be on tomarrow Today we got alot acomplished replaced the gas tank that was a total pain I HATE aftermarket stuff where I found my second build sheet, Striped the hood got ready to strip the car(remove flairs,spoilers,handels, running lights,and tail lights)and pressure washed it. I cannot wait tell it is done!!!! It will be my first car it should be done this summer when I get my permit should be fun.

Good luck man.  I gotta drop my tank one day.  I still have never found a build sheet and that is my last hope.  I will wait until I get ready to rebuild the rear axle.  What was wrong with the orig tank?

The original owners son put in a HUGE speaker box that covered the back seat and trunk and drilled tons of holes in it puting it in, the good part he preserved everything under it the plastic look new with not one scratch in it.
