Great project and appreciate the pics.  Your making good progress on that car, it's going to be nice when finished.  On your bolt kit question, the only thing I could find was the Engine Bolt Kit, others might be able to help in the other areas but you can get those bolts at your local hardware store.  Just make sure they are the right strength for the application that your using them for.

A lot of the big parts companies (Ames, Year one, etc) sell various bolt kits...interior, body mounting, etc.

Yeah had tracked down almost all of the bolts but I've got about 4 catalogs to order out of.  My dad usually takes grade 8 bolts from work when he can, they are the right bolts for the sub frame but, I've broke a few bolts that hold my fenders on and a few from the radiator support.  Once I order the cd's from here I'll know what bolts I need if I cant buy them cause I'll have the parts catalog.

Hmmm, forgot about them.  It would be alot easier to order from one place instead of 4. thanks.

Ok, got an update.  I returned yesterday from Carlisle with a handfull of parts.  What I bought: Engine Harness, Foward Light Harness, Dash Harness, Grill Insterts, and a front end bolt kit.  The harnesses are in the mail because Performance Years doesnt stock them but everything else is in my room at home. Still have alot of stuff to do and buy but I get out of school the middle of May and go back in the beginning of September.  More pics to come when I get out of school.

Update:  Took off the front pulleys, fan, alternator, and power steering pump.  But i broke a bolt to the water pump :( I didn't use the impact gun to take off the bolt that holds the power steering pump in place and I just snapped it off.  Hopefully i have an extractor kit somewhere in the garage.
Got some harnesses in from Performance Years.  Got the engine and forward light harness in but the dash harness is still on back order.  Looks like top quality stuff, best of all it comes all together in the wire looms.  Couldn't be more pleased with how they look.
Pics of parts to come, Im not home at the moment.

even though right now im not doing paint cause i just dont have the cash. i want to do something to make the car standout. i was thinking on the same nocutrne blue and the gold bird (i really like that colors sheme the best) but i wanted the bird airbrused on instead, but i was going to make the bird bigger where the head will end up on the shaker and the wings will hug the fenders and streach onto the door panels.  then on the back im going to put trans am on the spoiler. but in the letter style like decals are. (for those to know what car not to mess with ;) ) i just was wondering what you guys thought of the idea, if i get my hands on photoshop ill make a nice rendering.

hey, awesome project! and that is great that your car is a Z code! in my opinion, i would restore the car as original, especially because it is a Z code. it would be worth more money. also if you have the bird and lettering painted on the car instead of the decals, it would be a lot more money to pay for that, and it is very difficult to find someone that would do a good job. doing lettering and designs like the "screaming chicken" is extremely difficult and it needs to be 100 percent perfect to look good, otherwise it would be tacky.
-by the way, i'm a New Yorker too! i'm about an hour north of Staten Island! my 1979 T/A is Nocturne Blue too!

Sweet ride I love Nocturne Blue.  I just met a guy with a Z code on SI,  He was sending it in for paint an body work,  can' t wait to see what it looks like when it gets back.  Im still looking for someone with the gold bird.  not many people seems to have the camel interior or those nice extra wide gold rims

100% Yes.  I can wait till my T/A looks like that, of course its roughly 10-15 years from now but none the less it will happen.  I refuse to let an original 400 4spd z code bite the dust.  It will be passed down for generations with explicit instructions and I will haunt those who do not comply. lol

Here is every part that came with it.  my cam sucks at I'm not in natural light but you can see the vast assortment of stuff.  It seems to be of high quality and thorough.
Parts list:
10 thin spacers
6 thick spacers
6 large round washers, thin
4 flat point screws
20 retaining clips
61 retaining screws (idk the thread size whatever fits the retaining clips)
8 screws with washers same thread as retaining screws
4 larger diameter screws with washers
10 longer screws with washers, same diameter as previous
