Title: 1975 Trans am gauge/circuit board plus bulb help
Post by: gixxer711 on January 26, 2016, 10:26:23 PM
I replaced the circuit board and bulbs in the cluster. There is an open hole next to the bulb plug that the fiber optic line goes in.  Is there supposed to be a screw there? There wasn't one there before.

Also, do the bulb sockets for the AC and fuel/voltage just pull straight out or are they supposed to twist out? I don't want to break anything.

Add a suitable self tapper to form a ground with the cluster body.

Looks like a #8 sheetmetal screw works. I have some with a 1/4" hex head like others in the cluster. I can't see it hurting anything, if nothing was there before.

Got the bulbs out of the AC panel and fuel/voltage cluster. Those bulb holders are a pull out, not twist. Just to help others with similar a question.
