still need to install front and rear windshield and replace break booster and thats all she needs to be road ready. floors turned out great and still working on sanding paint smooth and adding final coat but hopefully i will get to run around and take her out to hang with the other birds in about 4-5 months. just finished installing the new ttop seals and brackets that hold them down. test drove around the block couple of days ago and WHAT A BEAST i cant wait till i get all the bugs worked out.....cant tell but been workin on this car for 2 years.....

Isn't that first ride awsome!  I drove mine down the road without tail lights and a bumper when I first got the engine running.  Kind of stupid, but man was it fun!  Nice work.  All you do is tackle one project at a time and keep on chugging along.

You've got her coming together nicely. Way to go.
What's she wearing now? Come on!
1976 Black 455 4 speed (current project)
1976 White 400 Auto (original)
F-body stuff stashed everywhere.

Your right about that first ride, no hood no t tops no windshield and I was still grinning ear to ear! Gave it some gas and motor was reving But car wasn't going anywhere I thought hell no transmission slipping but then noticed plumes of smoke coming from the back I realized holy sh*t tires are spinning! I just can't wait to get her road ready....

Lol, quick question...are those Harland Sharp Roller Rocker's you're using? And, do they fit under the stock valve cover's?

Honestly I don't know the brand, they came with a whole motor I purchased but ended up chunking the motor due to spun main bearings = ( so to reclaim some of my money I salvaged everything I could. The heads are actually 1969 428 heads and the rockers do fit under the stock covers....

UPDATE:

Well I got tired of the redneck way. I dropped it off and had all the old paint stripped and installed new flares, new bumpers, new door skins and had it painted and using hitmans idea of silver instead of gold. turned out pretty good. bought me new door panels from ebay and painted the bottom parts and installed those. The car is really coming together.......
