Yes, the W72 400 was an option for the '77-'79 Formulas as well as the T/A.

"This car also has the rare C&C T Roofs!  These t-tops were an aftermarket add-on and one of the most desireable aftermarket roofs because of their huge glass, and the fact that there was an actual structure for them, which supposedly helped keep the body stiff."

What?? Please explain someone.

Typical eBay seller BS  ::)

I wouldn't call them "desirable" since parts/weatherstripping availabilty is next to impossible....also being aftermarket vs factory wouldn't get me too excited either ;)  :D :D

1978 would be better....and 1979 would be best....at least as far a volume produced for a Formula W72.

Rare but not valuable.  The interest is in the Trans Am's not the formulas.  So, if someone happens to like Fornulas, they could get a could deal on one compared to a Trans Am.
