Update.
The new cam and "CORRECT" lifters are in for the 2nd time. Everything is buttoned back up and awaiting break-in. Small leak developed at the radiator hose inlet so a slight hiccup waiting for the radiator to get fixed. Hope to bust it off by the weekend and find out if the the bottom end was wiped out or not. Here are some pics showing the ol' girl getting a little closer.

Thanks Mongo. You know that interior is a result of a poll done right here on this very forum many years ago. It should be the "Peoples Choice" LOL.

John, She is really coming along nicely. Like I said before I can't take any credit for anything as of lately. Unless I'm mistaken it's down to the header panel, front and rear bumpers needing work/paint. Still some loose ends here and there but nothing too major. My hero got the engine all buttoned back up and running nice...that was the major hurdle. Keep your fingers crossed and hopefully its smooth sailing from here to the end.

I guess everyone can tell there is nothing new to report as of yet. Hopefully it wont be very much longer. Everything was supposed to be painted a couple weeks ago but a hairline crack surfaced in the header panel...so that was repaired. The bumpers/header panel were then going to be painted last Thursday but the shop got busy. They were all set to paint today but the body shop didn't have the primer needed to prime the bumpers so the primer was ordered and should be here tomorrow. I'll post back tomorrow and hopfully have the last few pics needed to finish the puzzle.

More Murphy! Thanks for all that have read this post, visited my FB albums, commented and waited patiently. A great group of folks...for sure.

Except for some fine tuning in several areas she is finished. Here's a few pics... More to come.
