Topic: BRE TA Decals...is it possible to have Phoenix Graphics sell them to me?

Hey Guys,
I have fallen in love with the Burt Reynolds Edition TA but obviously I cannot afford what they want for that car. In any event, I was wondering if it is possible to have Phoenix Graphics sell me a set of those decals for my TA or is it something licensed by Year One??? How expensive is it to have a custom decal set made for me? Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks! Dave

The YO guy at the Nats told me the hood bird wasn't a decal that it was painted on.  I didn't really look at it closely enough to say for sure, but that's what he said.

Bad touch! Not cool to touch other peoples cars, IMO.

But honestly, I don't think they'll sell them to you unless you own a real one. Same reason they aren't selling the front bumper. "BRE T/A exclusive"

Yeah, I'd sooner grab a guy's wife's a$$ than touch his car.  And I wouldn't reach under car or into the engine bay anymore than I'd stick my hands down his shorts.  Some people are VERY particular about their cars!

It is a decal and it seems it is a decal that will not be put into production, they are exclusively just for those particular TA's.
The prototype bird was painted on originally, someone at the shop came up with that decal.
Dont know who? i would like to find out cause he did do one hell of a job.

The front ends are for sale at year one. They are fiberglass and cost is $699 they also sell the bumper cover also $429.

More then likely they will go the route GM did back with parts for the Buick Grand National GNX cars. There were certain parts you could not get UNLESS you provided a serial number and documentation on the car. This prevented anybody with a regular Grand National from making it a GNX, which had a lot more goodies and was a LIMITED production car. 
I don't think Year One is going to be real happy to see clones out there of the BRE car anytime soon. It WILL happen, just a matter of time.
