That's why I don't watch these auctions, because it's totally ridiculous. These guys who buy them chiefly as an investment, not necessarily because they love the cars ( maybe they do) but because it's an investment. For me and my car, it's all about the trip along the way to get it the way I want it. I'm taking it one step at a time, trying not to get overwhelmed and enjoying it. I'm bad about ranting around here about this auction stuff, but that's just one thing that gets under my skin. I know this one time a guy posted here about wanting a "pristine super duty formula and such must be low miles for his consideration " that kind of stuff really bothers me, whatever, I enjoy my car my way, they theirs, that's cool I guess.

RE: Cheapthrillb2   I believe that can really happen, I sold a 1973 fireBird, this scrap guy calls me and says are you interested in another firebird. I call him back turns out i sold that bird 2+years ago.I found the scrap guy a buyer and we sold it again. I saved that birds life twice.

ehh i have some lint in my pocket and a cutlass and a silverado to sell before i can buy more. i want to buy a 70-73 bird and a tata so that way i can complete the specific cars i wanted also a 69 to add to the collection of old sore birds would be nice. this way i can atleast have them before they are untouchable for me price wise.
Too many birds, not enough food.
