Title: 1977 FORMULA W72 4 SPEED PRODUCTION NUMBERS
Post by: edistojimbo on March 15, 2017, 03:55:16 PM
I am trying to figure out how rare my formula is and don't know what options would add to the rarity. I bought it from the original owner in 1999. He custom ordered it with different options. Some include the w72 package, air conditioning, radio package(etc, but it doesn't have the rally gauges. It also had things like dealer installed trailer hitch. The original owner threw every piece of paper in the glove box so I have every document, all the way down to recall letters. The only research I could find came to John Witzke. Does he have any contact information available? I'd like to pick his brain on this car.

I'm also considering selling the car. I've had it 18 years and still haven't gotten around to restoring it. There has been a few parts replaced with junkyard parts (front fender, radiator support, etc.) and the motor was restored in 2000 with maybe 500 miles on it. I know this is a preloaded question without seeing the vehicle in person and in pictures, but are these vehicles increasing in value? what would a running project go for?

Thanks in advance,
Jimmy
