distributer question

what year of distributer came with a square 4 wire plug? this 80 t/a I bought with the 400 has this and I just need to buy the internals to get it running.
1977 S/E T/A 400/auto, y82 w72- parted out
1980 Y85 T/A 400/auto -also parted out
1994 gmc sierra xcss. 4"lift on 33's. yes its 2wd.lol

If you're referring to what I think you are......all of the electronic ones had that.  The two terminals closest to the distributor are for the pick up coil and internal electronics.  The outer two are for the Tach, and Bat.  Those should be marked.

 If you mean the harness coming from the distributor, then...

 1980 was often (301NA W72, 301T) a square 4 connector plug

 and
 
 1981 was a flat 4 connector plug.

 I don't recall what the L37 or LS5 engines had.
