Hey guys, thanks for the comments. To answer a couple of questions, yes...drive throughs are usually clockwise. Until a few years ago, cars had to be converted to RHD for unlimited registration....but now the car can stay LHD if 30 years old or older. GM did not build or modify for RHD...this was done by private contractors....some better than others...lol.
George....I have a section of nicely done engine turned alluminium ready to make a new dash facia out of....I'm looking at doing a custom dash using aftermarket guages....I like some of the Autometer ones, but theres also some nice Classic Instrument guages out there that would suit a musclecar...and theres some new Stewart Warner vintage "green-line" guages being reissued now that look pretty good.....have to research the quality of new SW guages (the original ones were the best you could get in the 60's).
