Title: A/C not working
Post by: EH-GoldTa on July 07, 2018, 07:13:06 AM
Good morning evryone

Im new to this site. My name is Eric. I have an 1980 all original turbo trans am. My A/C was working last summer and suddently stoped.
When i took the car out for the first time last week i got a short  blast of cold air when i turned it on and that was it. I try a few times again with no luck. Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Thank you

Could be anything. The clutch on the compressor may not be engaging, check with motor running. Likewise if the refrigerant has leaked to a pressure low enough the switch will not allow it to come on.
