does anyone know where i can buy blocks online? my 73 455 SD just blew on me and some of the parts can still be used again or maybe just a hollow one where i can rebuild myself? plz help i want my car running again

If its an original 73 SD that came in your car, I would try and have the block repaired.  Most of your typical machine shops cant handle that type of repair, but there are shops out there that specialize in this type of work.
So dont scrap the block just yet if is the original engine in your car.
BTW, sorry to hear about your misfortune. :cry:

What kind of damage did it do to the block? Have you already taken the engine apart?

no its not original at all so im going to go with the most cost effective way.
haha no i wasnt racing just cruising after a show, actually, a few weeks ago a 94 SS camaro stock wanted to race me but when i fired up my engine he backed out hahaha

the damage done to it was a rod got loose and went through the side of the block so its pretty much gone(i think)

Well in that case you should be able to salvage alot of the other parts.
Finding a block and possibly a crank shouldnt be that hard to do.
