Ok I finally got this figured out . I used my telephoto lense 70-200 mm and found that it pulls the mountains in more ,but you need alot of room to back up . Before with the 24-70 mm lense the mountains looked way further away then they should have . I just wish I didn't loose me polarizer filter as it would have helped eliminate some of the haze in the mountains .
