hmmm... can I use these with stock studs?

yes,  but screw in studs would be stronger . most pontiac heads have them.

will not work with stock valve cover , with oil drippers.

hmmm well if I buy these than I have a new excuse to buy new valve covers... but I did just put the car semi back together... decisions decisions

I got my valve covers from ames .  the stock low profile w/o drippers.  ames pg. 122 part FN651

did you get poly lock's with yours?  they are to tall  for the stock valve cover.

yes they are. Im having valve trouble already. Installed heights are off by alot and valve retainers will contact the valve seals. I need to get more machining done.

haha . I just got off the phone with my motor guy . he just told me the same thing. so there going to be cut down.  mine is at .015  and need .050  clearance
