My 88 T/A
« on: October 29, 2011, 09:44:15 PM »
So this is what I now have instaed of the Fiero!!

It is deffinatley a project but a little time putting the interior back togehter, fixing the hack job on the wiring system, and putting new head gaskets in it I think will go a long ways to being road worthy again.

The body is really solid but the paint isn't nearly as nice as the guy led me to believe but it is just a daily driver for now so I'll adress that after I get it road worthy.

The rims look to be off a 2nd gen Camaro, and I would like to get the lace wheels for it again.
other things will be to rebuild the air conditioning system, maybe next winter.

I'm also thinking of using my SBC shaker that I have laying around and putting that on the car but we'll see about that!!

Here are some pics:

I forgot to take pictures after I unloaded the car and got it put into the garage but next time I go there, I will take some of the interior.

the interior needs lots of help but I will get it assebled again and see what's missing...nothing special there

Nice GTA I love the hoods on them. Hey Charlie I found a steal of a deal on a parts car, as mine needs a ton of work to. If you need parts LMK,

I look forward to driving it around next season...

I still haven't had the oportunity to divulge in the "new toy" playing yet.

Dropped it off and ran...getting anxious to start on it...still need to take more pictures of it too

Looks cool , I have had a 3rd gen for over 20 years now , currently have a 89 GTA that I bought in '94 and love it , just sent a aero wing fiberglass spoiler to the paint shop , took the original rubber one off, much much lighter than original.  Good luck with yours !!

Haha yeah I got the wrong pistons for my hatch and got the ones for a GTA and I only have the straight spoiler. My rear hatch flies up so fast you would think it would fly off the car. That GTA spoiler must be heavy!
