Title: Bracket for Hood latch Handle placement
Post by: Arcticman on September 04, 2018, 07:07:26 PM
Hello everyone, I have a question and hope someone can send me some Pic's. I have a 76 TA that the front bumper and cowl was disassembled when I bought it. I'm now putting it back together and I can't figure out how the hood latch handle is attached. I have the small bracket that is on the pull handle down under bumper, but I can't find the attachment point for it. I have looked at the bumper, Rad support, cowl..... I don't see any obvious place for the two bolt holes. Thanks for the help.

Picture is for a 79, but the under structure may be close for the latch.

The picture is a 79, but might help with the under structure attachments. The cable clip on my 79 slips into a bracket on the center support under the hood latch. Hope it helps.

Mine is a metal handle that has a bracket that attaches to support. I have a 78 TA and that is a cable. Thanks for the pictures.
