Topic: Looking for a very specific 79 Trans Am

79 Trans Am Original Atlantis blue, blue hobnail interior, t-top car 4 w disk, 403 Olds Automatic. 2W87K9L1711972

Ordered new in late 78, finally arrived in 79. Circumstances forced the sale in 1986. I did a search years ago and it was only registered 1 year after I sold it in 1986 in Illinois.  Even if it's not for sale, I would like to know if it survived.

I searched for my original TATA and found it last registered in 1999 in Cincinnati.  The trail died there.  No salvage record though.  I ran the same nation wide search for your vin and there is no record which tells me it's probable;y crushed just like mine probably was just no record of it.  I contacted my last owner but she told me to pound sand.

Thanks for checking!  Always has been mu hunch that it was totaled. But I still keep looking.  Found some close to the same but haven't found it's twin yet.
