Title: RTS - Radial Tuned Suspension or not?
Post by: Hammond on May 28, 2007, 08:32:24 PM
I have a rebuilt trans am. but the RTS plate is missing.

How do I know of I have RTS or not? what is the difference between a car with RTS compared to one wothout?

what modifications do RTS consist of?

Is there a hole where the RTS Plate should be?  I am probably wrong but I think all Firebirds had RTS on them.  Some however had the upgraded WS6 Suspension which consisted of thicker sway bars and a quick ratio steering gear box.

Some earlier years had it on the glove box if I recall...not sure what year. I'm sure someone will chime in :-\

okay.

I thought RTS was a option that few cars had. still learning.

how about the ws6 option then? what are needed to "upgrade" to that one?
