You are correct, they only came in white. I meant a black Firebird OR a '69 T/A (in white of course ;))

Yes, I am still looking for the right 67 or 68 "BLACK" one to add to my collection.  I don't like the nose of the 69 so it has to be a 67 or 68.  I also want a hard top, not a convertible.

Ok so here's a thought....take the dynacorn camaro body and build a bird your way. I'm not that up on 1st gens but there's not that much different in the early years between the camaro and the bird. Just a different nose and markers for the first couple of years (well other than engine choice that is..).

Only problem with that idea, is that the first gen Camaro has a different body line than the Firebird.
So using Firebird fenders won't line up with the doors or rear body lines.
