Was there any welding done to the car when it was at the body shop? Remember - if improperly grounded welding can cause havoc with electrical systems since you're putting a huge electrical charge through the body.

fair to say, I put a full frame in the car, I cut the floors out on both sides and slid up 2x3 rails and connected the front to the rear.

Needless to say, the engine is fine now. I have no dash, lighting or any other electrical hooked up so I will find out any issues as I go along.
