Topic: 79 Owners Manual

[79 Trans Am]

Why is it so hard to find a 79 owners manual ? I tried thru Classic and they were back ordered. On E-bay they are ridiculously high, while I seen them in the catalog for around $15.00 bucks.

I got a new one on eBay a few years ago for $20...they sometimes range up to $100+ 

Keep watching eBay...the $20. are still around

Why are they so high though. When in the catalogs they are 15 bucks. Did someone quit printing them? I seen one on e-bay ,buy it now for $135.00.Thats crazy !

Because it's supply and demand.  Lots of those little handbooks got tossed like everything else on these cars.

I tried the link you posted and e-mailed them. They said they do not have any also. Thanks though. Will keep looking. Just can't figure out why the other years are out there excepct the 79. Maybe that would be a good business to start up.
