Weirdness tonight (10/25/07)?
« on: October 25, 2007, 10:58:52 PM »
When I got on about an hour ago, I kept getting "server not found" errors -- but TAC and other sites came right up.  Is there some kind of weirdness going on? :-\ :-\ ???

Also, a few times in the past day or so response times have been very uneven -- pretty quick sometimes, then deathly slow (dialup slow) at other times. >:( >:(

That only happens when you have 6 different forums open at once and try to post to each simultaneously... ;)

Yeah, those "weirdness" problems have been happening day and night since the switch to the new server.  I am having one heck of a time trying to figure out what the heck is up with it.  I could tell you everything that I am doing to try and trace it down and what possibitlites I have eliminated so far, but it would be all Greek to you.  All I can say is pretty soon I am scapping the server and doing a new one.  I have had so much stuff going on (like the last 5 days at least) 3 out of my 5 websites were down.  the list goes on and on, but all I can say is that by January there wil be a change and I hope this "weirdness" will be gone.  It is double bad for me because not only is it slow as all egt-up browsing the site, it is even slower than all get-up working on the back end of the site as well.  So, you get it in front.... I am getting it in the front and the rear (so to speak).
