OK so im totally perplexed... I am restoring a 76 455/4speed Sterling silver/red car. The cowl plate has a code for firethorn. HOWEVER, as i thumb through the year one and classic industries catalogs they do not list firethorn as a color option for things like replacement seat vinyl and dorr panels. They list firethorn for 1977 but just red for 1976. What do i use?
Do i buy the 77 firethorn stuff or the 76 red?
Im trying to take her back to the original colors....
