What's an SE? I don't know much about mopar, but post pics of the charger if you have em mike. My dad and I want to see it.

The SE "Special Edition" option added high end luxury to a full on muscle car and was available as 500 SE and R/T SE models.  Think custom interior and etc..

Mine was 100% project.  I found it in someones yard in the boonies.  I ended up buying it for 100.00 and after the offer and the way he jumped on it, I realized I could have probably gotten it for a lot less... maybe just to get it gone.

Over all the car was nice.  The interior was complete along with the glass.  The body was in typical 1970 shape.  It needed floors and a trunk floor sections and quarters and a fender at least.  Obviously other areas needed attention too though.  The motor was long gone along with the tranny, but everything else was there.   I ended up selling it for about what I had into it to a friend of mine that is into Mopars.  Thinking he would keep it.  I was wrong, and I learned my lesson!!!!

Here is the way it should have looked for the most part....   Mine should have been this color too.
Mine of course is the POS following the first pic. ;D

AND MINE right after I got it home.

I think they're just different, I'm biased for obvious reasons, but they're all cool. Dodge made some bad a cars back in the day. So Michael, why did you get rid of it?

I dont know!!    I love mopars too.  Always loved the Charger from 68-70 and stumbled onto that one.   After keeping it for a couple of months, my friend had been saying how he would like to have one and I knew that with my TA, I just could not afford the body work, engine and etc.

The worst part was though that I sold it for about 300 dollars because he was a friend....   thats fine, but within the month, we were at a  swap meet and as he was talking to a mopar guy, the guy offered him 2 grand or so sight unseen and it was still at my house!  Needless to say he sold it.

I never had no hard feelings, and still do not, but I guarantee that the next car I sell to a friend will be what the car is worth.
