looks clean!!!
must be excited!!
Well at first I was a little heartsick that my original car was to far gone to be fixed economically, and that I was ending up with a 79 instead of a 78. I just had to get my head in the right place, thats all. I'm going to end up with a MUCH better car, in the long run. I just hated seeing pics of my 78 sitting in the shop half stripped. It looked so sad, like it knew what was coming (It just became the parts car).
But a sharp 79 is a sharp 79. And this one has T-Tops (which my 78 didn't). And they aren't that much different that it's worth quibbleing about. And since most of the parts on the 78 will cross over to the 79, there is a LOT of stuff that I DON'T have to go chasing around the country looking for.
All in all, an equitable, and practical solution to the problem.

Just FYI these are the guys that are doing the work on my car. They are going to post pics also so they can do a "Beginning to end" photo essay of whats happening
