Have motor, need car
« on: June 09, 2008, 11:13:32 PM »
I'm looking hard for a 78 T-Top car to put my motor in.  Clean and rust free as possible.  How about a barn find.  Ha! Ha!  Anyone know where I can find one?

Wow!  I'm overwhelmed by all the responses.  Is there no 78 T/A's out there.  How about just one.  or does everyone just want to hold onto these ever increasingly valuable cars.  What do ya'll think?

Sorry,I live in TX.  I have my heart set on a 78.  I've had a couple of responses locally that i'm going to look at this week.  Thanks though.

I was lucky enough to find a black/black 78 (non SE) with Hurst Hatches here in Houston.  I will pick it up this week and post pics ASAP.  I'm so excited.  It even has the original CB radio so I can get those 'Smokey Reports.'  I look forward to conversing more with yall as I work on the restoration.  Talk to ya later.
