i took off my valve cover on the passenger side and noticed that my two rear rockers were at an angle. i looked at the guide plate that keeps the rods in place and the right sides of the two rear ones were worn almost off, all the others are fine, i guess the adjustments someone made in the past were wrong. my zip is 45212 in cincinnati. need just the one plate, all the others are fine, for a 301NA. here are some pics. thanks for the help. i don't plan on driving this ta until this is fixed.
the guides on my 400 engine look the same so maybe they are universal, still looking for one guide plate.
