I saw this yesterday at a show. All I know is the guy who was driving it stated, His father in law bought it brand new in 1980 on Cape Cod Mass. It is located in western Mass. All original, 54,373 miles, Never saw winter or rain, has been garaged for past 2 years(since his death), contact info is in one of the photos. Asking $10,000 but kept saying make him an offer.

why ? looks as real to me as possible, since its clearly an original bird....

The hood bird looks like an 81 Pace Car bird or just real faded.
