I believe there is a Resto supplier that offers uncut lock sets and I think it also had instructions on how to set the tumblers to match the key. Its not really all that difficult, just tedious working with such small pieces.  I believe it was Performance Years that has/had them.

OOPS ... just dawned on me the real problem... NO KEY!!!   Would be just as well to order a complete Lock set and change them all out. Over time the tumblers inside the locks wear, having a new key cut may not even work if they would still be original.  I recently had to replace mine for the tumblers were so worn you could actually remove the ignition key after turning it past the Lock position.  and if you jiggled it just right you could start it without a key.

So if I bought a lock set I could have it set to the match the original ket set, then have a set of keys set to match the factory code?

when you remove the lock cylinder there is a tab in there that you can turn with pliers until you get the new one, there is also hot-wiring it.

Well I finally got the steering wheel off and the lock cylinder out and she fired right up.  Was nice to finally get her into the garage, now the real fun begins!
