im buying my first Trans Am! It's a 1978 4sp 400 factory WS6 W72 with a 3:42 rear end. It isn't running; the owner said the "cam went flat in 2000" and it's been sitting since. It looks nice with original paint but faded and 2 small dents. Original interior looks ok for its age. Seats have rips but dash looks good. Hitman was a HUGE help in me getting it for a decent price and not over paying! My first step will be trying to buff out the paint and see if I can bring some color back. I'll also get my mechanic to replace the cam and see if he can get it running again. My sons and I are very excited!

Congrats on the Trans Am! Sounds like a great car, post some pics when you can.

How is it coming along? What did you do to buff it out? What products? Did they bring life back to the paint? Any pictures? I am in the process of this with mine, and trying to decide which route I want to take with it!
