Since I started a tech question thread, I figured maybe I should make a photo thread to show a bit more and give a bit of the story of the car too... The car is a 1977 Brentwood W72 four speed stripe delete, that's numbers matching, with 45,000 miles. Modifications include headers and exhaust, Street Dominator intake, VSE suspension bits, and VSE Appliance wheels.
The car was ordered by my uncle and he drove and raced through the late 70's, into the mid-80's. After that it was a weekend car, finally spending the last 15 years or so seeing little to no use, but being well protected under a cover and on jackstands in the garage. Condition is good for being all original - there's a few dents and dings in places, but there is zero rust and the paint still shines up well. Interior is in good shape too, with only a finicky headliner that will be replaced.
Unfortunately my uncle passed away in the spring of 2008, rather unexpectedly. My aunt informed me that it had always been his intent to give the car to me, which has been an indescribable honor. He always took pride in his cars and kept them in nearly show room condition - it's my mission now to take care of his Trans Am.
Last fall, some good friends and I made the trip down to northeast Ohio to pick the car up:
After a bit of work the first night, we were able to fire her up without too much trouble (on old gas, and obviously not cleaned up yet):

The documentation I have on the car is very complete - all purchase records from the dealer and even most service records up through the early 80's. Here's the original window sticker and build sheet:
This spring, I got the car out and have been driving her on the weekends when it's been nice. This a pretty common sight:
A few weeks ago, I got the chance to put the car on a Mustang dyno over at a friend's shop. She put down just about 200hp and 300 ftlbs to the wheels.

http://smokedtires.com/forums/transam/dyno/TransAm_Dyno_2.wmvThe latest outing was this past weekend, driving down to Watkins Glen for the season opener. The Trans Am definitely took top billing for the loudest street car down there on Saturday. It even rivaled most of the race cars being unloaded in the paddock. This is at the top of the Esses:
Anyways, nothing too fancy, just a nice clean survivor car with some great history for me. Just thought the community would like to see another one.
