Title: Original 1976
Post by: thindmarsh on July 04, 2019, 11:06:07 AM
I have a chance to buy an original 32000 mile 76 455 fire thorn red. It is super clean for original paint. Only non original parts are the hood and one fender. How much would the fact the hood and fender have been replaced affect the value?Car drives like new and even has original exhaust.

If it's numbers matching, who cares. A few bits of metal work here and there is very, very, very common on these cars. A fender and a hood isn't a big deal. Shouldn't hurt the value drastically if they are replaced with the correct parts.

The replacement parts improve the value compared to putting the damaged originals back on.
